Registered agent address vs. business address
A registered agent address is where your LLC officially receives legal papers, called service of process, and state notices. A business address is where you receive everyday mail and the address you put on your website and invoices. New Jersey requires a registered agent; a separate business address is optional.
What New Jersey requires
Every New Jersey LLC must name a registered agent with a New Jersey street address, available during business hours to accept service of process. A P.O. box does not qualify. Both the registered agent address and your main business address appear in public state records.
Can one address do both?
Yes. You can use Executive Gateway as your business address and, if you add our registered agent service, as your registered agent address too. Or you can use one and not the other.
